Welcome to the University of West Florida’s Movement Academy. We are a physical education program serving students in the surrounding area. Our mission is to provide a quality physical education opportunity for all of our students that offers a unique variety of physical experiences and opportunities while providing invaluable teaching experience for physical education students at the University of West Florida. Typically, the participants are home-schooled and preschool-aged children. **Must be at least 4 years old.
LOCATION:
The UWF Movement Academy is based in the HLES Facility, building 72, on the University of West Florida campus. The Academy is fortunate to have access to many of the resources present on the University of West Florida campus. This collection of resources allows the UWF Movement Academy to offer activities that might not be available elsewhere!

OUR STAFF:
The Academy is staffed by UWF students who are seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees in physical education as well as University of West Florida faculty and staff.

PROCEDURES:
Parents are required to sign a UWF General Counsel's Office Liability Waiver. We ask that students arrive a few minutes before class is scheduled to begin to allow for check-in procedures. Click on the links below to download and print the waivers:

REGISTRATION FEES:
- $70.00 for first child (2 days a week, semester fee) *$15.00 (for each additional child from the immediate family)
- $25.00 for first child (2 days a week, monthly fee) *$5.00 (for each additional child from the immediate family)
- $40.00 for first child (1 day a week, semester fee) *15.00 (for each additional child from the immediate family)
- $15.00 for first child (1 day a week, monthly fee) *$5.00 (for each additional child from the immediate family)
